Hoop fest 2026
Our One Day Festival will be a day to be remembered with, drinks, food, music and HELP US GO PLASTIC FREE THIS YEAR
£5 enter fee covers your choice of glass to use at the festival & take home with you.
There’s no booking required for entry to the Festival or for food, pop in for one or stay for the day.
Expect a buzzing festival atmosphere with our beer & cider tent, cocktail stand, Essex Spirits, Paul Laurie The Essex Wine Man and our inside bar all running throughout the day.
Our pizza oven, barbecue and festival food stalls will be serving all day alongside live music and DJ sets running through until 9pm.

No booking required for entry or food — just turn up
£5 entry fee includes your reusable Hoop Fest glass to use throughout the day and take home with you
Over 18s only — valid ID may be required
No dogs, babies or children permitted within the festival area

Parking is available at Stock Village Hall just a short walk from The Hoop and the No.300 bus stops directly outside the pub.

Hoop Fest FAQ’s

Our Hoop Fest pint glasses are available to purchase upon entry to The Hoop on the 24th May and are £5 each which is your entry fee these are non-returnable and yours to keep and take home with you. We are going plastic free this year !!

Last orders will be at 9pm, please kindly leave by 10pm. We struggle to get Ubers in Stock so please make sure you have booked your taxi in advance, we can recommend 01277757575 or 01277623000

If you are driving to us you can park in the Village hall - opposite Bakers Arms Pub, directions can be found on the‘Visit’ page of our website

If you are coming by but the no. 300 stops right outside

No our normal bar menu will not be running, our festival food menu will consist of our Hand Made Pizzas, Hog Roast, BBQ, Ice Cream.

We will have vegan cheese available to add to your pizzas our base is made with organic sourdough starter.

We will have gluten free buns for burgers.

No we do not have a marquee, bring the sun with you! If it is raining we will move the event inside The Hoop

We take our licensing very seriously, please bring ID with you if you are under 25, without it we will not be able to serve you. Anyone drinking under the age of 18 - you and all your guest/family group will be asked to leave.

Sorry we are no longer allowed to drink outside in front of The Hoop as Chelmsford council have stopped the License for this.
Therefore you will not be allowed to leave with a drink.

Its not that we don’t allow children but the festival is a very vey busy event when the sun is out.

Parking is limited in front of the pub but there is plenty of free parking in the Village Hall car park just a 5 minute walk from The Hoop.
