The 2008 Beer Festival
Friday 23rd May - Sunday 1st June
Over the past twenty years, the Hoop beer festival in Stock has become an annual event, drawing serious beer supping folk from as far away as Norway and Australia.
To our knowledge, the festival was the first of it’s kind locally and is well supported each year.
We have over 150 real ales, over 50 ciders, a hog roast and a BBQ. |
| |
For those with different tastes, there is a range of ciders including Scrumpy and Perry’s.
Selling more than 18,000 pints of real ale alone in 2005 was a great accomplishment for the Hoop, and not to forget the lager and special drinks for those who tiresome.

Indulge in freshly cooked beef burgers, jerk chicken, sausage and onion and much more at The Hoop Beer Festival barbeque. |

| |
Enjoy a good spit-roast at this
years festival.
| |
The crowds relax and enjoy the summer weather on the grass verge outside The Hoop.
| |
Some of the beer festival visitors enjoy the sunshine and a pint of real ale.
| |
Considering how unreliable our English summers are, the outside area is partially covered by several marquees and beer tent sheltering numerous tables and chairs.

The Beer Festival runs through the summer bank holiday and this year, will kick off on the 26th May and end on the 4th June. Just to remind you of what a good time you had at the festival, you will get your very own Hoop Beer Festival mug.
